Science - U is an outreach program of Penn State's Eberly College of Science. We partner with faculty and departments in the colleges of:
Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) Energy Institute
Information Sciences and Technology.
University faculty, researchers, graduate students and undergraduates teach hands-on, science-based laboratories and activities to young people from second grade to grade 12.
Each camp is a program overseen by a lab director who has a PhD in the program topic. Each classroom also has an instructor to lead the class and mentors who are responsible for small groups of 4-6 students. Outside the classroom, activity staff and mentors provide supervision.
The strength of our programs lies in the creativity, enthusiasm, initiative and caring of our staff. We strive to meet the needs of each individual participant.
We are ready to welcome your child(ren) to an exciting science experience this summer!
