This camp runs from 8 am - 2 pm, and has a camper-to-staff ratio of 4:1.
Surf's up in the lab this summer as your children discover how the properties of light and sound mimic the rhythmic movements in our oceans.
Your child(ren) will explore their senses and learn more about what helps us to see and hear. They’ll also investigate how light and sound travel through things and what comes out on the other end!
Join our orchestra of musical instruments made from water glasses, straws, coat hangers and rubber bands to learn about how different sounds are made and how sound travels.
Your child will also:
From the instrumental sounds of their favorite piece of music to the color palette of their last finger-painting masterpiece, this adventure will bring the science behind sound and light out of the shadows.
On Friday's closing ceremony, parents are welcome to attend and watch as each camper "graduates" from Science - U!
