Have you ever wondered how wizards are able to cast those neat "spells?" Well, in Gee Wizards Science camp you'll learn why scientists make the best wizards: they can use their knowledge to make amazing things happen!
During this camp you will learn the science behind some bubbling, freezing, gooey, and stinky "potions." You'll make your own slime, silly putty, and even instant snow! You'll also discover how to write hidden messages using ingredients you already have in your kitchen! There may even be time to work on levitating some objects, too!
Come and join Penn State scientists and students as your child unlocks the secrets and magic of science! Your child will work with friends in both small and large groups to discover how science works. In this camp, children will learn about inquiry and the scientific method. Each camper will receive the training and support to ask questions as well as the skills to experiment and dig for answers!
On Friday's closing ceremony, parents are welcome to attend and watch as each camper "graduates" from Science - U!
