Welcome to Science - U Leadership Academy! Below are the books recommended for student to read before attending camp. Each camper is expected to choose two books to read and write a 2 page reflection based on the questions below...then submit it electronically to the camp director before arriving for camp.

Questions:

1. Are leaders born or raised? Is it really possible that anyone can become a leader? Are there people with natural traits that make them unfit to be a leader?

 

2. How, if so, might new science and technologies affect leadership and leaders?

 

3. What is the relationship between leaders and followers?

 

4. One of the main trends in the new economy is people working at home, connected to work by the internet. How can one be a leader with much less personal contact?

 

5. What do you think the scientific leaders of the ever-changing world will look like in 15 years from now?
