This camp is your gateway to the fascinating world of materials science! Materials science researchers have brought us amazing new technologies like flexible screens, nanoscale sensors, and self-folding materials – in this camp you’ll explore how researchers take new technologies like these from initial concept all the way to actual implementation. Through visits to labs to meet researchers, demonstrations of cutting-edge tools, and a hands-on challenge to design and prototype your own solution to a pressing societal problem, this camp will bring the research process alive for you and inspire you to think about the world-changing possibilities of science and engineering in whole new ways!
