When's the latest I can register?
The early registration deadline is midnight on 4/30/10. Regular registration deadline is June 20, 2010. Camp places will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wait to register, your chosen camp may already be full at your child's grade level. If spaces are still available after the discount deadline (April 30), you may be able to register at the full registration fee.

What if my child’s chosen camp is full?
If your child’s grade level is full in his/her chosen camp you will have the option to select to be placed on a waitlist for that camp or register for another camp for that age group. You may choose to remain on the waitlist and/or to select another camp (if another camp has an opening in his/her grade level). You will not be charged for a waitlisted program until a space in the program opens up for your child. If your plans change, you may contact our office to take them off the waitlist.
If a space for your child opens up, he/she will automatically be registered for the program. You will then receive an email notification of your child’s change of status. At that time, you will be expected to provide payment.
Register your child before midnight on April 30, 2009 to receive the discounted rate.
What happens if I need to cancel?
All cancellations made at least 15 days prior to the first day of camp will result in a refund, minus $50 administrative fee per camp. The $50 administrative fee will be charged for each cancelled camp regardless of the participant's (or his/her sibling's) enrollment in other Science - U camps.
Refund request made within 15 days of the start of camp will not be honored. The participant and/or sponsoring organization will be responsible for the entire fee.
What happens if Penn State has to cancel a camp?
The University may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a camp is cancelled or postponed, the University will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other related charges, costs or expenses including cancellations/changes or charges by airlines or travel agencies.

Registration Dealine: June 20, 2010
For maximum discount register all children before May 1st.
Extended care (for campers entering grades 2-8, does not apply to all camps)
- Add $50 per child per week for each child registered
- Optional drop off from 7:45am, pick up by 5:15 pm
- Monday - Thursday, only!
- Children engage in supervised free play during extended care hours (7:45-9am and 4-5:15 pm). Sports equipment, crafts, and games are provided. The number of students varies from week to week, but this service will be provided independent of enrollment numbers.
Residential camp (4th-12th grade)
- Arrive Sunday evening
- Leave Friday evening
- Evening activities include swimming, movies, sports, field trips
