- World Map Shows Reach of Penn State Science-U
- Science outreach programs continue to be a destination for youth and students all over the world. This map represents about 75% of the locations with students who have traveled to learn more about Penn State science in the summer months.
- Mini STEM Camp for Girls a huge success!
- Young women in grades 6-8 had an amazing day of science at University Park on February 2 at the 2013 EYH STEM Career Day. Students rotated to 3 sessions: Forensic Science 101, Faster, Higher, Stronger: Anatomy and Physiology, and - Order Out Of Chaos: Math Careers. Undergraduate and graduates students mentored the campers in each session, which were written and run by science and math faculty.
- 2013 Camp Registration Now Open
- The 2013 summer camp registration system is now open, including 3 new camps: "Spy Games: The Math of Secret Messages" (for grades 9-11), "Busted! Myth Meets Science" for grades 2-3, and "H2 Uh Oh!" a 3 day mini-camp for grades 6-8. Early bird deadline is March 31, 2013. Registrations are based on a first-come, first serve basis. Waitlisted campers will be added to a camp once space becomes available. Financial aid applications are also available.
- Meet Lynda and Barry - Adventures in Science
- Follow Lynda and Barry, Generation Sci kids, as they try to make sense of science, technology, and the world around them! Graphic artist, Jarod Rosello, in collaboration with the Science-U team will be investigating the curiosity we all feel through the scientific and imaginative adventures of Lynda and Barry.
